Jeannette Owen

Jeannette Owen is currently studying for an MA in Composition at Bath Spa University. Jeannette studied Music at the London College of Music for her first degree, graduating with honours in 1986, and has gone on to a career as an instrumental teacher and musician, performing regularly in the pits of musicals and with the Fitzwarren Musicians. After bringing up her family, she turned her hand to composing and has enjoyed collaborating with Philippa Johnson.

What’s your role in SparkFest?

My role in SparkFest is that of Composer of The Seven Stages of Woman, and Musical Director and Performer (Flute & Clarinet) in the online production. Also as Composer and pianist in this year’s PG Composer’s Showcase.
