Joanna (she/her) studied History at Cambridge University (whilst taking part in 27 student productions) and then went on to train at Arts Educational Schools. Recent credits include Gobstoppers, a collection of online solo vignettes with Angel Theatre Company; original digital musical Shift + Alt + Right with ALP Musicals and a filmed version of Romeo&Juliet with Guildford Shakespeare Company. Playing Juliet and putting her own, modern spin on a classic character, as well as multi-rolling with a cast of 4, has been an acting highlight. In addition to a love of Shakespeare, Joanna is a strong singer and creatively is always looking to collaborate on new writing and work on theatre projects that provoke thought. This is what drew her to Sugar, Honey, Ice, Tea and she hopes she can bring honesty and sensitivity to stories that deserve to be told and listened to.
