Toby Underwood

Toby is an East 15 Acting School graduate with a degree in World Performance. He has worked for Bath-based theatre companies such as the Natural Theatre Company, Apricity Theatre and Beyond the Horizon as well as for the BBC. His work as a voiceover artist enabled him to produce a podcast, Mind Magicians, to help parents with home schooling during the lockdown. He brought Gabrielle Finnegan onboard to write series 2.

Why do you do what you do?

The wonderful thing about acting is that you can step into someone else’s shoes and see the world through their eyes. Acting has taught me the importance of empathy. I act so that I can understand people, their actions and what motivates them.
